Case Study: Vacuum Bakeout Facility

Our client working within the international space research sector required a unique system that had a requirement to pump down to a vacuum of 1x10-6 m/bar while baking to a temperature of 150c. The internal diameter of the chamber was specified to 600mm with a custom-made clean room capable insulation jacket and custom designed heaters that HT Products developed for this specific application.

They required this chamber to outgas their large UHV components varying in complexity which are intended to be used within a space environment.

While all the above was specified by our client it was left up to HT Products to come up with a solution on how to achieve their required specifications and closely liase with the technical department to achieve a solution that would meet their demands.
